Our executive Chef David Nicol left New Zealand over twenty-five years ago determined to make his own way in the culinary world. Self-taught and having honed his craft in a staggering array of international settings. David is delighted to bring his wealth of experience and talent to the island of Ibiza unique concept that is Casa Tuya.
David is passionate about local and sustainable ingredients, challenging himself to create everchanging seasonal menus. His creativity is driven by creating menus that are beautiful but unpretentious, flavourful yet simple. After Many years in the restaurant industry David has a unique ability to attune to the diner’s experience and expectation; creating a dining experience that is fun as well as surprising. His creativity and extensive international exposure combine with his love of great local ingredients pave the way for an exciting and innovative dining experience.
